My Business is Johnny’s Painting & Roof Cleaning I’d like to know where is the best places to advertise ?

Jwinters5 asked:

I recently had customers in Brandon but now I live in Lutz area but will still travel to Brandon if I had to for a big job. Knowing that are gas prices are getting more expensive each day. Should I tried the fliers to the residence or just go to a Realtor office? Please let me know. Thanks!

try craigslist.com you would be amazed the response. word of mouth always works well, sell yourself. send thank you notes to past customers. recently we received 3 notes from this car shop in our area, that really sticks in your mind – their persistence etc. hope this helps

The best plan would be to find commercial accounts and streamline your workforce to all non-drinkers and call on the business with a briefcase and an outline of a quote and deal with businesses. Dealing with a Realtor. They do so little work for their commission, I would not want to associated with any Realtor. Job One: clean up your business by hiring only clean, responsible workers. The homeowner can see the hungover roofers who show up at 10:00 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m. to do a simple roof replacement. Have a set system about being paid a portion of your bill on the front end of the job. Check the courthouse to see if the customer has any judgment liens on record against him/her. Try to advertise after you have completed some jobs and established a reputation for sober, reliable and competent service. Most people who are old enough to own a home are old enough to distrust roofers. Bells go off in the head of most people at the word “roofer.” Don’t mean to be so blunt; but, I would fit my advertising campaign my prov-en performance record. Be honest with yourself and release any drinkers you have on your crew. Fliers or Realtors? I would not associate my company with a Realtor and Fliers if you are operating off a cell phone. I don’t where your location is. It is important to have a physical location where a customer can walk in to discuss a job. Good luck.
